ABOUT ME
Hi! My name is Nicholas Evans, and I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering at Texas A&M University and plan to graduate December of 2022. I started coding upon entering A&M, and since then have learned much about both software and hardware, worked on many amazing projects, and even won a few coding competitions. I’m excited to keep learning more about computers as I have a very strong interest in the futures of virtual reality and smart home technology.
Along with my academic skills, I have found myself developing many interpersonal skills through various positions of leadership I’ve served in. For example, through my time working in the Appelt Aggieland Visitor Center and serving as a chair for Aggie Transition Camps, I had to develop strong communication and management skills to be an effective leader. Through these experiences, I am confident when it comes to leading a group of many different individuals.
Through my course work at Texas A&M, leadership experiences, and various internships, I have learned a lot of valuable skills, that I am eager to utilize in my career. And while I'm proud of my current accomplishments, I am looking forward to learning even more in my future work. With that being said, I am currently seeking a full-time job opportunity following my graduation in December and I very much look forward to working!
